Chinese Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Surgery Congress 2019 will be held in Xiamen, a beautiful city known as the Seat Garden, on November 15th-17th, 2019. This conference is sponsored by National Committee of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Surgery (CMICS), International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS), and Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, and undertaken by Xiamen Branch, Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University and Shanghai-Fujian Main Cardiac Vessel Alliance. We sincerely invite cardiovascular surgery colleagues from cross the nation to this conference.

The main theme of the conference will be “innovation, cooperation, and development”. In September 2017, approved by National Center of Cardiovascular Diseases, National Committee of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Surgery (CMICS) was officially established as the most authoritative Chinese academic organization in the field of minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery. Serving as an official exchange platform of CMICS, the first Chinese Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Surgery Congress (CMC) was concluded successfully at Shanghai in September 2018. CMC will continue to focus on leading concepts and technologies in the realm of minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery both at home and abroad, provide a stage for industrial experts to demonstrate their innovative achievements, and offer precious opportunities for communication and cooperation between relevant practitioners. This session of conference will be greatly supported by International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS), and witness the speeches made by world prominent minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery experts as well as live broadcasting of surgical operations. These foreign guests will also join domestic experts to discuss and exchange views on popular topics, puzzles, and challenges in different fields of minimally invasive surgery, thus jointly promoting development of this sector in China. In addition, during the training session prior to CMC, a lecture on minimally invasive surgery theories will be given, and an extracorporeal pig cardiac valve surgery experiment will be conducted, both designed to meet expectation of guests. We believe that this event will open a new chapter for the development of minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery in China!
